    1. Thank you, Argus. A lovely compliment.

The filter I’ve used is meant to simulate Japanese wood block printing, of course with a heavy dash of my own artistic license.

I remember seeing the bust of Nefertiti in a touring exhibition when I lived in Berlin years ago. Beautiful lady, although we will never know if she was a nice lady or not.

I recently sent off a DNA test through Ancestry.com, and still eagerly awaiting the results. North African is a more than possible root. I’m very intrigued. 🙂

      1. They’ve discovered with side-scanning radar in the tomb of Tutankhamen that there ‘may’ be hidden chambers behind the north wall; and suspect that Nefertiti may actually be there.

Good luck with the DNA, and if not intruding please keep us posted—?

        1. Ooh really? I didn’t know about that. It’s been a while since I’ve indulged in things Ancient Egyptian.
My eldest son recently inherited my collection of relics garnered for me from some ancient Egyptian tombs and temples, bar one piece in the shape of a headless Bird of Horus, which I brought with me (U.S. Customs can be s pain). Along with those relics went some of my enthusiasm, sadly.
Any links you can share re Nefertiti’s possible tomb…?

As for the DNA results I shall indeed keep you posted. I’m chomping at the bit to find out what they discover. It’ll be an interesting mix, that much I know.
