New York Street #1

Just a random sample of some of my street shots from around New York City. I took around 1,900 in three days, and I’ve probably only looked through a few hundred.

Times Square – our hotel was in the midst of Times Square, on West 41st Street near 7th Avenue. So, of course, we had to hit the streets with our cameras in the “neighborhood.”

The hotel had a “city view,” which on the 30th floor in NYC, is pretty mid-level. A “real” view, high-rise condo will cost you $7-$80M to own. We were good with our affordably rented view.

But the real fun was in the streets.

More to come.

  1. People being people, that’s what it’s all about. Scenery and settings are often just the props.
In that first shot, the lady enjoying her coffee—that’s pure rapt enthusiasm, you couldn’t ask for (or pose) a better capture~!
