  1. Hah! That’s how I do it too—both eyes open.
    And using the viewfinder, there’s something special about a viewfinder, it allows you to immerse yourself in your shot and removes distractions. (If that sounds paradoxical, it’s not … anyway, I like this shot~!)

    1. I know Bill prefers to use the viewfinder. Personally I only began doing so recently, if only to gauge the lighting better, although I’m equally happy using the LCD, eyes aren’t what they used to be…

      1. Viewfinder feels much more ‘intimate’ with the scene/subject … also tends to focus one on the task at hand (keeping the other eye open at the same time may seem a bit oxymoronic, but it’s not 🙂
