  1. Intriguing. Both in how I imagine you intended it, and my first impressions.

It took me a while to figure but at first I saw a bomber approaching war-torn London with nasty intentions …

    1. I was just playing around with different effects. Dreams aren’t always roses I suppose. Didn’t mean to give you unpleasant impressions.

      1. Nothing unpleasant or untoward, I was just momentarily surprised.
Then I deduced it was that big Ferris Wheel thingy they now have in London—? A bit after my time—hah! I still remember when London was (as Billy Connolly once described Glasgow) “done in ink!”. Just wearing a white shirt for a couple of hours was enough to ensure a grey shirt by evening, the whole place was foul</em …

        1. I wasn’t living in London at the time they were constructing this big ol’ferris wheel. I seldom go to London these days unless I have to. But the Sunday I took this shot was an exception. My children don’t harbour my jaded vision of the big smoke, so for them it was an adventure. Besides I’d never been up in the London Eye myself, so I saw it as a good opportunity to entertain children and myself with my camera.
The effect wasn’t quite what I’d had in mind, but it was adequate I suppose for the purposes of this challenge.

Although better than it once was, it’s still advisable to take a shower after visiting grimy London just to wash the layer of soot off.

Speak now, or forever hold your piece. (Ew)
